This dissertation documents the use of serial verbs in Nuuchahnulth and a morpheme called the predicate linker. The formal analysis of the properties of these phenomena are carried out in an implemented grammar based on head-driven phrase structure grammar (HPSG) and minimal recursion semantics (MRS).
