Emily M. Bender was recently interviewed by Chris Gorski of "Inside Science". The interview, entitled "A Linguistic Lens on Artificial Intelligence" appears on insidescience.org in the technology section, and deals with what can go wrong with artificial intelligence. Emily M. Bender is a professor of linguistics and Faculty Director of the Professional Master's in Computational Linguistics, and was awarded the Howard and Frances Nostrand Endowed Professorship for 2019-2022.
