Linguistics doctoral candidate Joshua Crowgey successfully defended his dissertation, "Braiding Language: Lushootseed Grammar Engineering Constructions", on August 22nd in the Guggenheim Hall fourth floor conference room. Emily M. Bender chaired the dissertation committee, which included Sharon Hargus, Walter Anderson (NELC), and David Beck (University of Alberta) attending remotely.
