Congratulations to Angelina McMillan-Major, Naomi Shapiro , and Ted Kye, who have all successfully defended their PhDs!
On July 18th , Angelina successfully defended her dissertation titled “Language Dataset Documentation Design: Learning from Deaf and Indigenous Communities”.
On October 31st, Naomi successfully defended her dissertation titled “On the Diverse Language Experiences of Humans and Machines”.
On November 14th, Ted successfully defended his dissertation titled “A Grammar of Lushootseed: Phonetics, Phonology, Morphology”.
