This form serves to begin the grant and contract submission process for linguistics faculty. It is intended to streamline the grant application process by making it easier for faculty to apply and for the administrator to track and support applications. It collects preliminary information for the administrator whose role is to advise on budget and policy and enter the application in the UW system.
Applicants are highly encouraged to submit this form as soon as they start considering applying for a grant, even if they do not end up applying for the grant. At the bare minimum, they should submit this form at least ONE MONTH IN ADVANCE OF SPONSOR DUE DATE.
After you submit, the administrator will contact you to work through details and questions. You will be required to meet with the administrator in person to go over details of the application.
