LING 200 AA: Introduction to Linguistics

Language as the fundamental characteristic of the human species; diversity and complexity of human languages; phonological and grammatical analysis; dimensions of language use; and language acquisition and historical language change. Cannot be taken for credit if credit has already been earned for LING 400. Course overlaps with: LING 201.
